He is survived by : his siblings, Gussie Bright, Johnny Carlton, Arnett Carlton, Willie Gray Cleveland, Donnie Carlton, James Carlton, Louis Carlton, Lendsey Carlton, Laura Mae Nobles, Floyd Carlton and Bonus; his children, Reginald Carlton of Los Angeles, CA, Poncheta Carlton of Eight Mile, AL, Bridgett Bettison (Arnold) and Darron Carlton of Eight Mile, AL; his grandchildren, Lorean Strauther, Brittney Bettison, A'Brie Strauther, Briana Bettison, Braxston Carlton and Cheriden Carlton; and his close friend Mary McCoy. He is also survived by four children and six grandchildren.
