She was predeceased by: her spouse Ettrick Henry Gale, Jr.; her daughter Sandra Marie Gale; her grandchildren, Richard Wayne Gale, Eric Michael Gale and Cheryl Gale Mudra (John Mudra); her parents, Jeremiah Shay and Winifred Morton Shay; and her siblings, James Shay and Ida Rowley.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Ricky Gale, Michael Gale and Caroline Gale.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (12688 Santa Piedro St, Lillian, AL 36549). A Mass was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Magnolia Cemetery (1202 Virginia St, Mobile, AL 36660).
