He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rider and Elders Meshell (Genese Meshell); and his brother Keith Rider. He is survived by: his close friend Betty Jean Anding Franks; his children, Tony Rider, Jr. (Jessica) of Smith's Station and Stacy Carter of Frisco City; and his siblings, Marty Meshell of Excel, Thomas Meshell of Excel, Missy Gage (Mark) of Excel, Mandy Hooper (Lester) of Frisco City and Kay Bryars of Monroeville. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
