She is survived by: her husband Russell Lewis Sikes; her children, Virginia Allyce Sikes Read (Joe) of Dothan and Russell Land Sikes (Ellen) of Andalusia; her grandchildren, John Braden Read and Nealey Elizabeth Sikes; her nephews, Steve Sikes, Tony Sikes, Mark Land and Tommy Land; her grandsons, Braden Read and Taylor Sikes; and also Teresa Bonner.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Gilbertown Methodist Church, Embrace Alabama Kids (formerly known as the United Methodist Children's Home), or a charity of your choice.
