She is survived by: her husband Russell Lewis Sikes; her children, Virginia Allyce Sikes Read (Joe) of Dothan and Russell Land Sikes (Ellen) of Andalusia; her grandchildren, John Braden Read and Nealey Elizabeth Sikes; her nephews, Steve Sikes, Tony Sikes, Mark Land and Tommy Land; her grandsons, Braden Read and Taylor Sikes; Teresa Bonner.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Gilbertown Methodist Church, Embrace Alabama Kids (formerly known as the United Methodist Children's Home), or a charity of your choice.
