We announce the death of Bobbie Nix (Montevallo, Alabama), who passed away on July 25, 2026, at the age of 81. Bobbie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Fannie Watkins, Emmett Watkins, Frank Watkins, James Watkins, Arthur Watkins and Roger Shack; and her grandson Cameron Nix.
She is survived by: her child Georgenna Nix Williams; her husband George Nix; her son Cedric Nix; her sister Wilhelmenia Shamburger (Charles); her grandchildren, Valencia Martin (Ben), Tavaris Cottingham (Twila), Cedric Adams (Melissa), Renisha Williams and Cordarrius Nix; her great grandchildren, Cherish, Nevaeh, Eriael, Eryana, Tavon and Chance; and her great great grandchild Ja'Nyrii. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
