She was predeceased by : her parents, Dr. Terrell Bridges and Eula Cora Owen Bridges; her husband Billy R. Legg; and her siblings, Owen Bridges, Pick Bridges, Edwin Bridges, Eula Requett and Lydia White.

She is survived by : her sons, Joe, Tom (Glenda), Scott (Dedra) and Clay Smitherman (Stephanie); and her grandchildren, Courtnay Dunn (Jason), Carrie Upton (Josh), Nathan Smitherman (Nicole), Perry Smitherman and Owen Smitherman. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, and a town full of friends.
