She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben L. Oakes and Edna E. Oakes (Jemison); her husband Michael C. Tinney; and her siblings, Joanne Craig, Jane Foster, Marilyn Johnson and Charles Oakes.

She is survived by: her unwavering Christian; her children, Amanda Fox (Jason Peterson) and Scott Tinney; her grandchildren, Ryan Fox and Reagan Fox; and her siblings, Ruby Weeks (Don), Martha Whitten (Frank), Kyle Oakes (Martha) and Donald Oakes (Ellen). She is also survived by extended family and close friends.
