He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny H. Harris and Artie K. Harris; his grandson Demetrius Malik Jones; and his siblings, Edward Leon Hurdon, Jerry Deon Harris, Tommy Lee Harris, Lelia Mae Seay and Johnnie Louise Hosey.
