He was predeceased by: his parents, Mamie Allen and Jesse Allen; his son Wayne Allen; his brother John A. Allen; and his sister-in-law Clara Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Wanda Carrigan (Ralph) of Birmingham, AL and Daryl Allen (Kay) of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Katie Newland (Jesse) of Austin, TX, Braxton Carrigan (Catie) of Cheshire, CT, Sarah Allen of Chicago, IL, Abby Pikula (Colin) of Jacksonville, FL and Kimberly Smith (Landon) of Leeds, AL; his great grandchildren, Anna Reese Carrigan and Jackson Carrigan; his brother J. D. Allen of Pea Ridge, AL; and his sister-in-law Betty Allen of Bossier City, LA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and his canine companion, Buddy.
