He is survived by: his wife Pam Elkins; his daughter Karlee Nichols (Hayden); his stepdaughters, Ashlee Flores (Sotero) and Amanda Ruiz (Ulises); his grandchildren, Haylee Nichols, Madison Nichols, Kole Nichols, Mario Flores, Ximena Flores, Lydia Flores and Santiago Ruiz; his mother Bonnie Belcher; his stepparents, WJ Gilliland and Audrey Jones; his sisters, Ramona Preston (Brian) and Loretta Toxey (Johnny); and his stepsiblings, Lisa Spradlin (Kenneth), Kathy Williamson, Jerry Jones (Melissa), Lou Belcher (Mike) and Patty Gilliland (Terry). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and countless family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Charter Funeral Home (2521 US-31, Calera, AL 35040). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
