He was predeceased by: his parents, John Strickland and Virgie Strickland. He is survived by: his wife Kathi Strickland; his brothers, Joe, Mickey and Ted Strickland; and his children, Derrick Strickland (Charlotte), Jerry Elaine Smith, Kim Dockery (Wade) and Brian Poole (Trish). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, as well as a host of great grandchildren.
