With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence Albert Day (Montevallo, Alabama), born in Canton, Georgia, who passed away on April 20, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Jackson and Mattie Irene Rampley Day; his former wife Betty Alford Day; his brothers, William and Robert Lee Day; and his granddaughter Carlie Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Casey Day (Lynne) and Caroline Day Rose (Benny); his granddaughters, Ashley Day McDade, Allie Rose Johnston (Daniel) and Megan Perez (Guillermo); his great grandchild Peyton Day; his brother James "Bobby" Day; and his sister-in-law Martha Sledge Day. He is also survived by his family and many, many friends.
