She is survived by: her son Michael Carl Smitherman; her caregiver Johnny Brown Jr. (Pennie); her grandson Curtis Lee Grayson; her great grandchildren, Derrick, Deshawn, D'Shaundra, Kadarius, Quendarius, Jada, Myiesha, Caleb, Ja'Kolby, Ja Kylah and Justice; her great great grandchild Trinity; her brother James D. Smitherman (Maggie); her sister-in-law Deloris Smitherman; her friend Pearlie Caldwell; and also, Michael Reese II (Latoyria), Dr. Michael Reese Sr. (Icie) and Reverend Joshua Fields. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
