He is survived by: his wife Vera Tennyson; his daughters, Carla Capps (Mike) and Cindy Green (Leroy); his grandsons, Corey Smith (Alayna) and Austin Smith; and his great grandchildren, Conner and Brelynn Smith.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in his name.
