With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Louise Owens of Montevallo, Alabama, born in Sallis, Mississippi, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Louise left this world on June 22, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Levi and Bessie Robertson Bishop; her husband Decell Owens of Shivers, Mississippi.; and her siblings, John, Delma, Levi, Leroy, Eugene Bishop and Lorraine Cripps.
She is survived by: her sister Ann Edwards; her daughters, Debra Owens and Connie Hall; her grandchildren, Chris Hatch (Valerie), Regina Errington, Bo Owens (Amy) and Angela Mintun (Brad); and her great grandchildren, Christina Hannah, Lillie, Garrison Owens, Owen, Finn Mintun, Andrew and Gracian Errington.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rockco Funeral Home (3715 AL-25, Montevallo, AL 35115). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
