He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Michael and Florence White Michael; his wife Joyce "Cuddles" Michael; his daughter-in-law Laura Michael; and his siblings, Paul Michael, Fred Michael, Ralph Michael and Ruth Pope.

He is survived by: his children, Peggy Housley, David Michael and Tom Michael (Jill). He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren; and 11Great Grandchildren.
