She is survived by: her children, Theodis Young Jr. (Lennie), Vanessa Young, David Young (Monica), Pamela Reed, Veronica Smitherman (Quenton), Marcus (Celia), Harry Long III, Corey Salter (Carla), Corlando Bivins (Danielle) and Ebony Snead (Damon); and her siblings, Pete Valentine (Gwendolyn), Elizabeth Perkins, Martha Haynes (Henry), Annie Ruth McClain (Johnny), Charlotte Valentine, Rev. Charles Valentine (Dora) and Mary Thomas. She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren.
