He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Chapple and Linda Chapple; and his wife Betty Jean Melton Chapple. He is survived by: his children, Floria Scott (Keith) of Alabaster, AL, Felix Chapple (Connie) of Columbiana, AL, Antonio Melton (Traci) of Hoover, AL, Major Chapple (Faith) of Calera, AL, Carl (Ellie) and Henry (Ritena); his sister Sarah Chapple Lacey of Montevallo, AL.; and his siblings-in-law, Bobbie Ross of Montevallo, AL, Teresa Bolden, Pittsburg and Darryl Melton (Sonya). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and relatives.
