She was predeceased by : her husband Charles Kennedy Cottrell Jr.; her parents, Minnie Shores Roberts and Almos "Monk" Roberts; her son James "Jamie" Almos Cottrell; and her grandson Charles Kennedy Cottrell III.

She is survived by : her children, Wanda Rardon (Donnie Rardon Jr) and Chad Cottrell (June Cottrell); and her grandchildren, Donald Rardon III (Micheal Rardon) and Jameson Rardon.
