It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Neely Denton Sr. (Montevallo, Alabama), who passed away on March 31, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Willard Henry and Beulah May Hackett Denton; and his siblings, Willard (Yvonne), Chuck Denton and Juanita Denton Williams.

He is survived by : his wife Nancy Jean Brannon; his sister Willean Denton Hornbeck (Le); his brother-in-law Don Williams; his sons, Neely (Lynn) and James (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Margaret Ann Denton, Alex Denton (Roxanna), Angela Anselmo (John), Nicholas Denton, Matthew Denton and Andrew Denton; and his great grandchildren, Sam and Eli Denton.
