He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Ira Harris and Jessie Bell Hunt Harris; his wife Rebecca Bernadette Walker Harris; his daughter Kristy Ann Harris Hood; and his brothers, Richard Harris and Marion Harris.
He is survived by: his children, Wendy Leigh Harris Thrash and Aaron Mark Harris; and his brother James Harris. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren, as well as many other dear family members and friends.
