She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Elizabeth and Pickney Taylor Adams; her husband John W. Nolan; her siblings, Ora Lovelady and Robert Adams; her son Joseph T. Miller, Jr.; and her grandson Keith Freeman.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Freeman (Steve) and Robert Miller (Laura); her daughter-in-law Molly Miller; and her grandchildren, Thomas Freeman (Jennifer), Timothy Freeman, Sherree Trammell (Alan), Rebecca Buckalew (Ty) and Joseph Miller (Jennifer). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
