He is survived by: his wife Theresa McCoy Garrett of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his daughter Jesi AnnMarie Thomas (John Bradley Thomas Jr.) of Hahira, Georgia; his grandsons, Garrett AnnMarie Thomas and John Bradley Thomas III; his sister Tina Ann Birch (Phillip Birch); and his nephew Justin Hunter Kennedy.
