With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Aubrey Epes Robertson Jr. (Montgomery, Alabama), born in Newport News, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2025 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Robertson Aident and Aubrey Epes Robertson Sr.. He is survived by: his family, Lake Martin, James River and Newport News; his wife Sheila Galloway Robertson; his daughters, Susan Robertson Sturdivant (Jim), Cindy Robertson Bishop (Jim) and Anne Robertson Holmes (Beau); his grandchildren, Robert Aubrey Sturdivant (Brittany), Adam Bailey Sturdivant (Cassidy), Daniel Kyle Sturdivant, Thomas Wesley Sturdivant, James Samuel Bishop, William Galloway Holmes (Amelia) and Virginia Anne Holmes; and his great grandchildren, Adeline Cate Sturdivant and James Hays Sturdivant.
