She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Closson Pierson, Jr.; her parents, David Clark Hall and Ruth Ellen Shull Hall; her sister Peggy Hall Moore (David); and her nephew Jeff.
She is survived by: her children, Marcie Pierson Cornwell (Bill) of Pike Road, AL, Sue Pierson Rinehart (David) of Opelika, AL and William Bradley Pierson (Ginny) of Asheville, NC.; her grandchildren, Kelly Cornwell Fiori (John) of Orlando Fl, William Virgil Cornwell III (Cathy) of Seattle, WA, Joshua David Cornwell (Patty) of Pike Road, AL and Cory Pierson (Megan) of Madison, WI.; and her great grandchildren, Sylvia Fiori, Liam Cornwell, Aiden Cornwell and Eliana Cornwell. She is also survived by niece, two nephews.
