She is survived by: her husband Duane; her son Matthew; her daughter-in-law Lucy; her grandchildren, Tyler Toumbacaris, Omar Barrera, Nickolas Mara, Mitchell Mara and Tabatha Barrera; and her siblings, Phyliss Holmbeck, Charles Freiheit and Kathleen Guinan.
Duane was donating blood at the Red Cross on Ripley Street and asked if they could use a nurse.
