With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ballard Ovidette Hillman Jr. (Montgomery, Alabama), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ballard left this world on September 23, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Ernest Hillman; his parents, Ballard O. Hillman, Sr. and Agnes Naomi Hillman (Smith); and his sister Suanne Hillman Bolling (Frank) of Mobile, Alabama.. He is survived by: his children, Ballard O. Hillman, III and Terri Lynn Lander (Steven); his granddaughters, Alyssa Drew Lander and Ballyn Olivia Hillman Wilson (Corey); and his great grandchildren, Baylee Rae Wilson, Ever Wyatt Dempsey, Ellie Brooks Wilson, Lawson Turner Smith and Lander Thompson Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Leak Memory Chapel (945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, AL 36109). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

The family requests, that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The First Baptist Church of Montgomery Missions Board, 305 South Perry Street, Montgomery, AL 36104.
