She was predeceased by: her husband Franklin Eugene "Gene" Jennings; her parents, John Tyler Stevenson, Sr. and Mable Edwards Stevenson; and her brothers, John T. Stevenson, Jr. and George Drew Stevenson.

She is survived by: her children, Gena Phillips (Jimmy), Mark Jennings (Debbie) and Chris Jennings (Shirley); her brother Wade E. "Peabody" Stevenson; her sister-in-law Betty Moses; and her grandchildren, Kylie McBrayer (Dee), Katie Hicks (Caleb), Jamie Leigh Ivey (Parker), Rachel Nichols (John), Preston Jennings (Stacey), Amanda Eiland, Justin Jennings and Natalie Jennings. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
