She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Edward O'Gwynn and Grace Virginia Harper O'Gwynn; and her great grandchild Isaac Andrew McCooey. She is survived by: her husband Benny Joe McDaniel; and her children, Tommy McDaniel (Alicia) of Madison, AL, Susan Davis (Eddie) of Navarre, FL, Linda McCooey (Shawn) of Navarre, FL and Patti McVicker (J. R.) of Dacula, GA.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and fourteen greatgrandchildren.
