We bid farewell to Billy Owens of Montgomery, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 2, 2026 at the age of 92. Billy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gussie McCraney Owens and George B. Owens; his wife Ruby Annette Deese Owens; and his siblings, George Owens, Millard Owens, Floyd Owens, Wallace Owens and Hellon Owens Dawkins.

He is survived by: his sisters, Gloria Owens Peters and June Owens Holland; his children, Anthony Owens, Pam Owens McCurdy (Billy) and Leah Owens Loehr; his grandchildren, Amsie Owens (Stacey), Courtney Owens Gallion (Brian), Will McCurdy (Hannah), Mary Owens McCurdy, Savannah Loehr and Madison Loehr; and his great grandchildren, Jackson Owens, Ty Gallion, Rhett McCurdy and Baylor McCurdy. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association, or Traditions Hospice of Selma.
