He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Ernest and Veleria Curry Cowan; and his brothers, Charles Cowan and Hugh Cowan. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Daniel Cowan; his sons, Todd Cowan (Wendy) and Bryan Cowan (Carla); and his grandchildren, Will Cowan, Bryson Cowan and Brylie Cowan.
