He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruel Collier and Rena Motarie Collier; his grandparents, Wiley and Nellie Farris; his brother Wiley "Bud" Collier; his son Jason Lee Nichols; and his daughter-in-law Angie Garmon Collier.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy E. Collier; his children, Tracy Ruel Collier and Vykki Collier Rowe (Joe David); his grandchildren, Dallas Nichols, Evan Nichols, Victoria Garmon, Amanda Garmon Hogan (Jared), Joe David Rowe III (Rachael), Heather Michelle Browning (Russ) and Alex Daniel Rowe (Ashley); and his great grandchildren, Raelyn Rowe, River Rowe and Sawyer Browning.
