It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Burt M. Turner Jr. (Montgomery, Alabama), born in Westminster, South Carolina, who passed away on March 19, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Burt M. Turner Sr. and Minnie Turpin Turner; his wife Lily Arlene Stroup Turner; his daughter-in-law Denise Turner; and his siblings, Glen Turner, Carl Turner, Jack Turner, Ruby Turner Bolt and Annie Ruth Turner.

He is survived by: his siblings, Harold "Wayman" Turner of Westminster, SC, Duree Turner Skinner of Hartwell, GA and Vera Turner Bright of Seneca, SC; and his grandchildren, Heather Bukovatz Driver (Donny), James Matthew Bukovatz, Dinah Holt (Bolling), Michael Jeremy Cain (Stefani), Jason Cain (Kassi), Caleb Cain (Paige), Samantha Turner and Jacob Turner.
