She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Walden and Gertrude Nelson Walden; her husband Charles "Chuck" Mitchell; and her siblings, Donnel F. Walden, Sharon Cupp and Sandra Peppers.
She is survived by: her son Michael Barber (Lisa) of Montgomery, AL; and her sisters, Rosalyn Galbach (Regis) of Mt. Juliet, TN and Kay Preuitt (Fred) of Oxford, MS. She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren, and her 4 great-grandchildren.
