She was predeceased by: her husband Leon "Uncle Pokie" Howard; her parents, Joe Buckhanon and Jettie Mae Buckhanon; her siblings, Wallace, Jessie, Lincoln, Robert, Jody, Johnny, Joe Jr. Buckhanon, Merlean Robinson, Martha Buckhanon and Mary Taylor; and her nephew Richard Earl Taylor.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Hazel Higgins, Martha Taylor, Willie "Gene" Robinson, Lewis Robinson (Joeanna), Walter Robinson and Janet Luckie.
