She is survived by: her husband Thessalonia Kendrick; her son Anthony Cowart; her stepdaughters, Mary King, Carla Kendrick and Donna Kendrick Spivey; her grandchildren, Cardieres Hill Sr. (Jasmine), Martavius Bettis, Antonio Hill, Brian King, Kristen King, Justin Kendrick and Christopher Spivey; her great grandchildren, Cardieres Jr., Kayden, Jasiah, Brianna, Kierra, Taylen and Carmen; and her siblings, Frank Blackmon, Jessie Toles, Betty Blackmon and Winston Blackmon. She is also survived by nephews, nieces.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Leak Memory Chapel (945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, AL 36109). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
