He was predeceased by: his parents, Anita Rushing Colson and Cecil Wilson Colson Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Martha Louise Colson; his daughters, Dianne Denny (Chris) and Heather Colson; his stepsons, Kenny Jackson (Kathy) and Kevin Jackson (Kristi); his grandchildren, Colson Denny, Marilyn Denny, Cody Champion, Ashley Coats, Emily Coates, Kristen Robinson (Will), Hunter Jackson, Gray Jackson, Avery Jackson, Wells Jackson and Harrison Jackson; his great grandchildren, Anthony Dougherty III and Sara Kate Robinson; and his sisters, Elizabeth Colson Davies and Susan Colson Mills.
