He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Persons and Fannie K. Bradshaw; and his brothers, William Persons Jr. and Lewis O. Persons Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Doris Dunkin Persons; his children, Steven Moseley (Susan), Rebecca P. Wells (Kenneth) and Lisa M. Mills (Mike); his grandchildren, Anna Wells Benson (Brent), Hailey Mills (Meagan Spiegel), Jaclyn Mills Schofield (Robert) and Benjamin Moseley; and his great grandchildren, Henley Benson, Vance Benson, Bentlee Spiegel and Natalie Schofield.
