He was predeceased by: his son Charles A. Stakely, IV; his former wife Carolyn Stakely; his parents, Charles Stakely, and Harriotte Stakely, Jr.; and his grandfather Dr. Charles A. Stakely, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Winifred Stakely; his sons, Ben Stakely (Cathryn), Frank Stakely (Stacey) and Harry Stakely (Luisana); his daughter-in-law Winter Stakely; his grandchildren, Johnston Stakely (Andrea), Krisie Stakely, Charlie Stakely V, Elle Stakely, McKay Stakely, Sarah Cate Stakely, Emi Stakely and Manuel Jimenez; and his great grandchild Tripp Stakely.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (2416 W Cloverdale Park, Montgomery, AL 36106).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Caring Center at First Baptist Church of Montgomery, the Montgomery Symphony, or a charity of your choice.
