He was predeceased by: his parents, Carolyn Brunson and Charles "Fay" Bethea Caton, Sr.; his wife Phyllis Rawls Caton of Andalusia, AL.; and his brother Christopher Seale Caton, Sr. of Andalusia, AL.. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Brunson Caton and Charles Bethea Caton, III (Kathy) of Montgomery, AL; his grandchildren, Beverly Cook Giuliani of Franklin, TN, Dani Caton of Savannah, GA and Alex Caton of Gulfport, MS; and his great grandchildren, Anthony Giuliani IV, Karsyn Penrod and Beau Penrod.
