It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Ernest McIver Sr. (Montgomery, Alabama), born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on December 2, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elliot McIver and Eloise McIver (Miller). He is survived by: his wife Mattie Pearl Jackson; his children, Ernestine Britt (David), Charles E. McIver, Jr. (Amber) and Minister Richard McIver (Sharifay); his grandchildren, Michaela, Janna, Omari, Jonah, Dominique, Samuel, Desiree, Charles III, Anthony and Brandon; his great grandchildren, Kalayah and Kaireek; and his child Sharifay J. McIver.
He confessed Christ and attended Jerusalem MBC with friends and extended family. 2013 he moved in with his youngest son and family and begin to attend Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in 2014 until the COVID 2019 Pandemic.
