She is survived by: her husband Tony Askew; her children, Shawn Kinsella (Stephanie Dishaw-Kinsella), Timothy Hennessey (Jessica), Emily Askew, Ashlie Hennessey, Quinton Askew and Jessica Ray (Preston); her grandchildren, Olivia Dishaw-Kinsella, Olianna Dishaw-Kinsella, Omelia Dishaw-Kinsella, Ian Keeler, Hayden Maxey, Liam Hennessey, Hunter Hennessey, Bryceton Criswell, Kylee Criswell, Avery Criswell and Benny Keyser; her siblings, Bill VanVorst (Kenneth VanVorst Jr.), Tina Dillman, Nora Henslin, Jane Edwards, Michele Frye and Pauline Hayes; her father Kenneth VanVorst Sr.; her mother-in-law Linda Askew; and her close friend Beth Moreau.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 432 Goldthwaite St, Montgomery, AL 36104.
