He was predeceased by: his mother Hazel Carole Estill Reed; and his grandparents, Hazel, Levi Estill, Sr., Evan and Gertie Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Thompson Reed; his father Herbert Reed; his siblings, David Reed (Katherine) and Julie Garland (Tim); his parents-in-law, Wayne and Ann Thompson; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Day (Colter); his nieces and nephews, Michael Garland (Katie), Brian Garland (Betty), Laura Hudgins (Anthony), Garrett Reed, Cooper Reed, Sam Day and Max Day; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brayden Garland, Syahni Garland, Nash Garland, Asher Hudgins, River Hudgins and James Michael Garland; and his close friend Brian Swanner.
