He was predeceased by: his son George Michael Henry (Denise); his parents, James Porter Henry, Sr. and Iva Garrett Henry; and his siblings, Fannie Ellen Scoma, Myrta Florence Hall, James Porter Henry, Jr. and George Frank Henry, Sr. (Davis).
He is survived by: his wife Margery Boyd Henry; his children, Davis Garrett "Garry" Henry, Jr. (Shena), Gus Boyd Henry (Linda), Lora Gail Henry Bagents (Mike) and Dennis Mitchell "Mitch" Henry (Cindy); and his grandsons, Davis Garrett Henry, III, Mitchell Hardin Henry, Christopher Michael Bagents, Dr. Cameron Blake Bagents, Michael Porter Henry, Kevin Boyd Henry, Davis Boyd Lowery Henry and Mason Edward Henry. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
