As Debbie departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Debbie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Debbie leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Chandler and Alma Burke Gordy; and her brother Donnie Gordy. She is survived by: her husband Pete Smith; her sons, Joseph Franklin Smith and Andy Lee Smith (Jaime); her grandchildren, Brianna Smith and Greyson Smith; and her sister Martha Jane Richey (Tommy).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Debbie's memory to Heritage Baptist Church for Missions or Legacy Fund.
