She is survived by: her sons, Peyton Spottswood Mathis, IV (Michael) and Jefferson Warner Mathis (Victoria); her sisters, Rebecca Issac Shearman (Chris) and Cynthia Isaac Beaman; her nieces and nephews, Anne McCabe Schilleci (Vince), Mary Margaret Ivey Kinney (Ray), John Warner McCabe, David Cammack McCabe (Lowery), Warner Livingston Mathis, III (Mary Frances) and Christopher Arthur Shearman, II (Allisa); and her siblings-in-law, Warner Livingston Mathis, Jr. (Missy), Marcia Mathis McCabe (David) and Hazel Mims "Mimmi" Mathis. She is also survived by ten great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
