She is survived by: her children, Charles McDowell Crook, Jr., Caroline Johnston Crook and James Watkins Crook; her grandchildren, Sylvia J. Crook-Vonschlichten and Connor Samuel Crook; and her caregivers, Debra Ann Spivey, Sherry Davis and Andrea Howard.
