She is survived by: her sons, Carl L. Evans Jr. and Jonathan Scott Evans; her grandchildren, Mary Douglass Evans and Carl Hulsey Evans; and her brothers, Nollie Edge Hudgens and Donald Scott Hudgens. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
