She was predeceased by: her husband Doyle B. Stygler; her son Thomas F. Hurst; her siblings, Elizabeth Stanfield, Ed Thorne (Tina), James E. Thorne (Helon) and Eric Thorne (Pat); her sister-in-law Carol Bowden; and her parents, Bert Thorne and William A. Thorne.

She is survived by: her daughter Alexis Cooper (Robert); her stepdaughter Tammy Turner (Bobby); her grandchildren, Trina Hayes (Troy), Beth Cooper, Tommy Turner (Maria) and Taylor Cooper; her great grandchildren, Hayden and Jackson Turner; and her nieces, Sherry McCall, Teresa Tanney (Drew), Paige Kyser, Leigh Abrams (Jerry) and Ann Klein (Mike).
