With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emily Joy Yeargan Baker (Montgomery, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 30, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Lamar Yeargan and Erline Moates Yeargan; and her sister Ellen Yeargan Bryant. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Craig Baker; her children, Brandon C. Baker (Jennifer Muro Baker) and Leigh Anne Baker Shropshire (Jason David Shropshire); her sister Margaret Yeargan Starek; and her grandchildren, Blake C. Baker (Rachel Krutz Baker), Daniel O. Shropshire, Abby M. Baker, Stephen C. Shropshire, Nathan L. Shropshire and John L. Baker.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Emily's memory may be made to Samaritan's Purse; and St. Judes Children's Hospital.
